A custom tattoo is a unique and personalized design created specifically for you. Unlike flash tattoos, which are pre-designed, custom tattoos are crafted through collaboration between the artist and the client.

Although I don’t allow designs to be seen prior to your appointment, I reserve enough time in each session to make unlimited design changes together in person until the design is perfect for you.

I recommend dressing comfortable in clothes you don’t mind getting potentially stained. I do need clear unbothered access to the tattoo area, though. This can be more difficult in “private” areas such as sternum, thigh, etc. Please reach out to me if you’re unsure what to wear as I can provide different options to fit your level of comfort. Reminder: in the studio you have complete privacy, meaning the only people in the procedure room are me and you, and any person you may chose to bring along.

After filling out some paperwork, we’ll go over the design together to make sure everything is perfect (making any adjustments as necessary). We will then pick out some different sizes to try on with a stencil. We can try as many sizes and as many placements until we find the perfect one. We’ll chose colors together (if applicable), and begin

Absolutely! Especially for longer sessions you’ll probably want a breather at some point, even if it’s just to stretch. And for longer sessions it’s definitely okay to split them up into multiple shorter sessions.

Although I do many styles, I would describe my personal style as illustrative neo-traditional inspired color work. I love using varying line weights, muted soft colors, and lots of detail.

Getting my tattoo with Summer was so great! She came up with an amazing design and was willing to change a few things up, make the design smaller and move it around a few times before we got into it. During the tattooing process she was super chill and cool to talk to. She was very comforting and encouraging during the more painful parts and was more than happy to give me as many breaks as I needed. I’m so so happy with my beautiful new tattoo! Overall amazing person and amazing tattoo artist, I would definitely recommend!
